Welcome . . . . . . . . .

Our students are our prime focus. We are committed to providing them with teaching methods based on sound classical technique. These classes are Russian/Italian based and enriched with anatomical principals for a deeper understanding of body awareness and connectivity, emphasizing the execution of that technique using proper body alignment while developing a deeper understanding of the artistic, musicality connection behind the movement.

The Ballet Workshop has built its reputation on providing dancers a safe environment for training in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz and tap while nurturing dreams of becoming a professional dancer since its inception in 1988 by Artistic Director Syble Bracken.  Now in its new location, on the corner of Railroad Street and Myrtle Avenue.

We want The Ballet Workshop to make a difference in our community with the performing arts we offer. Our mission is to empower those students interested in pursuing a career in dance achieve their personal best while developing some of the skills; technique, artistry, musicality and confidence, necessary to achieve this goal, whatever aspect of the dance field they may choose.  Our ultimate goal is to prepare and carry these young dancers into their professional lives, whatever direction they may choose.

We pride ourselves in our high standards of teaching for every  class in every level we offer, allowing each student the opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace while developing poise, grace, confidence and self-esteem.
